How this differs

Why stay here instead of booking the next workshop

There are a dozen removal trainings on the market and almost all of them teach you to operate a device. This is a programme about running a service that pays for itself.

The market today

From what we see in the market, around 70% of the people removing pigment in Poland today are working on nanosecond lasers — and very often do not know where that technology stops.

Olena and Justyna's own estimate, from conversations with clinics, distributors and course participants. To be confirmed against market data before it is used in advertising.

And no — this is not a programme about getting you to buy a picosecond laser. The nano-versus-pico comparison sells devices, and we do not sell devices. We open up what the technology can actually do, and we teach you to run a service from it whatever is standing in your treatment room today.

  1. Training ends when the device is delivered

A distributor onboarding day teaches you the buttons, not the treatment. The first difficult cases arrive a week later, when there is nobody left to ask.

  2. Consultation is treated as paperwork

Most problems do not start at the device. They start earlier: in a question nobody asked, a photo nobody took, a promise made in the first conversation.

  3. Knowledge circulates in private messages

Parameters and protocols passed around in comments and DMs, stripped of case context. Everyone learns from their own mistakes, separately.

  4. The service is not costed

The clinic has a device and no workflow: how long the appointment runs, what a series includes, what the documentation looks like, what you say when progress is slower than the client assumed.

  • A weekend workshop: two days, a lot of slides, a certificate for attending.

Four weeks, a quiz after every module, and a certificate only once the final exam is passed.

  • Training on one device — usually the one the organiser sells.

We teach you to read a specification and decide for yourself, including whether buying makes sense for you at all.

  • You finish with the technical knowledge and no idea where clients come from.

The whole fourth week is brand, client acquisition, and a price you do not have to discount.

  • After the training you are on your own with the questions.

Four live sessions with us, an industry guest at each one, and your own case discussed.

  • "You will learn to remove tattoos and permanent make-up."

You will learn to qualify a case, plan a series and say "not today" — because this is a responsibility, not a procedure.

  • You compete on the lowest price in town and work every Saturday.

We show you how to price a series and build a schedule that does not eat your weekends.

An exam, not attendance

The certificate is issued once the final exam is passed: 40 questions, 80% to pass. That is a document a clinic can show an insurer.

The device decision

You leave with the cost of one treatment in your own room calculated, and the point at which a laser starts earning. Or with an honest "not yet".

Clients, not only technique

Concrete sources of removal clients and a plan for the first 90 days. This is the half of the trade no removal training in Poland teaches.

A price you do not discount

Pricing a series, talking about money, and positioning where you do not have to be the cheapest in town.

Two instructors, not one

Olena and Justyna at every live session, plus an industry guest. You ask somebody who does this daily.

Materials for a year

Recordings, workbooks and checklists stay with you for 12 months. You come back to them when a hard case walks in.

We built Gangsta Lasers Academy to take this knowledge out of private conversations and put it into a protocol somebody can learn. If you are looking for a two-day course on operating a laser, there are a dozen of them and they will be cheaper. If you want to walk away with a service that has a protocol, a price and clients, this is the programme.

  • Which findings are a signal to postpone
  • How to document a case so the 'before' photo actually means something

Qualification

Who this is for — and who it is not

We would rather say it now than in week three.

This is for you if…

  • You are a linergist or PMU artist and want to add removal to your services
  • You run a tattoo studio and clients increasingly ask about correction or removal
  • You own a salon or clinic and plan to buy a device — and want to go in prepared
  • You already have a laser but feel you work on instinct rather than protocol
  • You want a structured consultation, documentation and a way to discuss outcomes
  • You prefer learning in a cohort, with the option to ask live

This is not for you if…

  • You want a parameter table to apply without assessing the case
  • You expect a guaranteed result — that cannot be promised honestly
  • You have no access, current or planned, to a device or to practice
  • You need medical credentials — this is a professional programme, not a medical course
  • You do not want to keep documentation or consent records

Participant journey

Four weeks, four changes in how you work

The programme is built as a progression, not a list of topics.

  1. W1Consultation stops being paperwork

You ask whatever comes to mind and settle a lot of things mid-treatment.

You have one consultation record you work through every time — and you know which answers end the conversation for today.

  2. W2Parameters stop being a mystery

You take settings from an onboarding day, a group chat, or the last client.

You understand what you are selecting and why — and you can read a device spec instead of trusting a brochure.

  3. W3A single treatment becomes a plan

The client asks 'how many times?' and you answer 'it depends'.

You classify the case, plan a series with intervals, and can explain what that assessment rests on.

  4. W4The service holds together

Removal is on the price list but has no place in the calendar or in how the clinic communicates.

You have a workflow, photographic documentation, pricing and a way to present the service — and you know where you start on Monday.

Programme

Week by week

Each week is one module, one live session and one concrete outcome. Olena and Justyna lead the whole programme — both of them, every time.

  1. Week1

    Foundations: skin, pigment and consultation

Before you switch the laser on

Outcome: You run a consultation end to end: history, case assessment, documentation and consent — and you know when to say 'not today'.

    Scope

    • Skin structure and pigment behaviour
    • Client history and intake
    • Contraindications and reasons to postpone
    • Documentation and informed consent
    • Clinic safety principles

  2. Week2

Technology, parameters and the device decision

This is not about nano versus pico

Outcome: You can read a specification, match parameters to a case, and judge whether buying a device makes sense for you — and if it does, how to introduce it into a clinic so that it pays for itself.

    Scope

    • Laser types and wavelengths — what actually changes the outcome
    • Nano or pico: where the real difference is, and where the manufacturer's marketing is
    • Treatment parameters and what drives them
    • Differences between pigments
    • How to introduce a device into the clinic's offer
    • When buying makes sense, and when to refer the client on
    • Running costs, servicing, and the real cost of one treatment
    • Common selection errors and where they come from

  3. Week3

    Case assessment and treatment planning

From the 'before' photo to a series plan

Outcome: You classify the case, plan a series with realistic intervals, and can tell the client what to expect — without promising an outcome.

    Scope

    • Case classification
    • PMU versus tattoo scenarios
    • Cases you do not take
    • Intervals between treatments
    • Workshop: participant cases

Led by: Olena Yantsova i Justyna Grondke-Trąbska

  4. Week4

    Business, brand and client

Why you do not compete on price

Outcome: You have a clinic workflow, a price you can defend, and a concrete way to bring clients in for this service — plus a schedule that does not eat your weekends.

    Scope

    • Clinic workflow from enquiry to result
    • Documentary photography that sells the next treatment
    • Positioning: why the lowest price is the shortest way down
    • Pricing a series, and talking about money without discounting
    • Where removal clients genuinely come from
    • Communication, social media and difficult conversations
    • Schedule, capacity and work-life balance
    • Final case review

Included in the programmeLive sessions

Four live meetings. Both instructors every time, plus a guest from the industry.

A live session is not a lecture. It is an hour spent on your cases, correcting mistakes and answering questions — and each week someone who has been doing this for decades joins us.

The live sessions are part of the four-week programme — they are not sold separately and cannot be joined without enrolling in a cohort. This is not the free webinar. The webinar is open to everyone and runs for an hour. These four sessions are for cohort participants, run on your cases, and return every week.

  • Always Olena and Justyna

Both instructors are on every call. One looks at it from the procedure, the other from running a clinic — and they often disagree. That is the most useful part.

  • An industry guest every week

Each session has a guest with many years of hands-on practice in skin, pigment or laser work. Not a sponsor — a practitioner.

  • Your cases, not our slides

You submit cases before the session. We go through them by name, with the decision and the reasoning — including the ones we would decline.

  • Questions collected in advance

Send questions before the call, anonymously if you prefer. None goes unanswered; anything we cannot fit in gets a written reply.

  • A recording after every session

Cannot make it live? The recording appears in your materials afterwards and stays with you for 12 months.

  • Thursday evenings

After the clinic, not during it. You know the dates from day one — they are in the programme.

Special guests

Every live session has a guest from the industry — someone with many years, often 25, of hands-on practice in skin, pigment or laser work. The point is that you hear more than just us: someone who has seen far more cases than one cohort can show you.

  • Skin and healing from decades of clinic practice
  • PMU pigments: what has changed in the formulations over the decades
  • Tattooing from the artist's side — what a laser operator does not know
  • Difficult cases and complications: what to do when it goes another way
  • Running a clinic, and the client conversation that cannot be won

Guest names are announced before the cohort starts and before each price stage opens. We invite people with real, verifiable practice — and we announce nobody who has not confirmed the date.

Exam and certificate

The certificate is for passing the exam, not for attending

A quiz after every module, one final exam, and the certificate only after it. All of it on the platform, with reminders — you do not have to keep track of anything.

  1. A quiz after every module

After each of the four weeks, a short quiz: 10–12 questions, 70% to pass, unlimited attempts. It is not there to keep anyone out — it shows you what you have not absorbed yet, before the live session discusses it.

  2. The final exam

After the fourth module the exam opens: 40 questions across the whole programme, 60 minutes, 80% to pass, three attempts.

  3. Certificate of completion

Issued once the exam is passed — with your name, the date, the programme scope and a number to verify it against.

Instructors

Olena and Justyna

The programme is taught by the founders of Gangsta Lasers — not by guest lecturers.

A laser removes nothing. Its job is to break pigment particles into smaller fractions so the body can metabolise them. Anyone who does not understand that is working on instinct.

We train
Linergists, tattoo studios, salons, clinics

Gangsta Lasers was founded in 2021. We built it to educate and to show that laser removal can be carried out safely and effectively. That is still the mission.

Alongside supplying devices — nanosecond and picosecond lasers — we train linergists, tattoo studios, salons and aesthetic clinics. We teach laser physics, the chemistry of light, working from real cases, and combining techniques with removers.

We do it because we see the results of treatments carried out without that knowledge too often: open skin, weeping wounds, burns, scarring and hyperpigmentation. Almost never out of carelessness — out of having no protocol.

The Academy is the natural next step: the same knowledge, arranged as a programme you can return to. We want the person on the other side of the laser to be a professional who understands it, not someone guessing at parameters.

Notes from the studio

One subject a week, until the programme starts

Every week, one thing from the treatment room: a parameter, a protocol, or a conversation with a client that taught us something. Short, specific, no theory we do not use in practice. Written by Olena and Justyna.

A new note every Thursday until the Founding Edition starts on 7 January. We announce each subject a week ahead — if you want them in your inbox, sign up below.
